• 6pm - Registration and setup for "Cover the Walls and Tech Solutions Expo" Student, faculty, staff, and theatre professionals- SHOW US YOUR DESIGN WORK! Open invitation to exhibit work and share with fellow artists! Top student presentations will be awarded a complimentary registration to the USITT National Conference in March. Location: Theatre Lobby.

• 7pm -Dinner and Socializing   join us for dinner on campus- included in the registration fee. Location: Knutson Center.

• 8pm - Northern Boundary Opening Session and Membership Meeting.
Overview & Highlights of the 2015 Prague Quadrennial for Performance Design and Space. 
Session Leader: Alicia Wold. Location: Main Theatre.

Saturday, September 6:

• 8am - Registration with donuts & coffee/juice. Location: Theatre Lobby

• 9am to 11am Morning Session Choose one of the following sessions:



Lighting – 
Presented by Jordan Green and Bryan Duncan . Session Location: Main Theatre.



Costuming - Digital Rendering Techniques - Presented by Ricky Greenwell.

 In this workshop we will explore Digital Rendering techniques. We will spend some time talking about hardware and software and what is needed to render digitally. We will explore through examples and techniques you can use on various platforms. You are encourages to bring you technology to explore techniques during the workshop. Session Location: LabTheatre

Scenic - Design and performance in Virtual Reality.
  Presented by Corey Shelsta. Session Location: Jones A.

Rigging - A History of Counterweight Rigging; The Early Years. Presented by Rick Boychuck. Location: Jones B.

Lunch, Networking, social hour – also View and vote on “Cover the Walls” and “Tech Solutions”. Find lunch on your own at the campus food venues or nearby restaurants.

• 12:30-2:30 Afternoon Sessions Choose one of the following sessions:



Make-Up – 
Demo - Using aqua-color (and research) to design cirque-style makeups. Presented by Rooth Vaarland. Session location: Theatre Dressing Room- Basement of FFCT Theatre.

Rigging - Tips and techniques demo – From handling unbalanced loads to how to operate your system; everything is fair game for discussion. A collaborative session to discuss rigging techniques – the positives and the negatives. 
Presented by Dan Culhane. Session Location: Main Theatre.


Design & Production Show and Tell - Description: 5 minute show and tell using images/slides. Open to all who are interested – create a 5 minute Powerpoint slide show to share designs, processes, tools or techniques.– scenic, costume, lighting, sound, projections, etc. Session location: Lab Theatre. Bring your presentation on a flash drive!

• 2:30-3:00 Afternoon Break

• 3:00-4:00pm - All Conference Session. Health/Safety – best practices – multidiscipline roundtable discussion, New equipment/safety features, training practices, simple things we overlook, what works best in your venue, etc. Presented by: Tiffany Fier, Dan Culhane, Cory Shelsta, Peter Lerohl.
Session location: Main Theatre.

• 4:15-4:30 pm - Wrap-up Meeting
- Student Scholarship winners for March 2015 National Conference Registration announced
- Short meeting and send off! Location: Main Theatre.
